Port-A-John Enthusiest Posted July 15, 2009 Share Posted July 15, 2009 Back before the 12oz nuclear fallout of 2009, their was a thread in here called the Daily Sketch Thread started by purrplestain, basically the jist of this thread is that we brainstorm ideas of things to draw and then we come back on a due date and we post what we've drawn. I dunno, i always liked the idea of this thread. So if youre intrested post up..I'll start off with an assignment. *Somthing from the Garage/Utility closet. Post up by July 16th? Feel free to join in anybody, any ideas are welcome..abstract, sculpture, painting, digital, magazine clippings, and what ever you can come up with..just any ideas..im open to anything, i just sit around the house and i like this thread because it gives me new things to try new ideas i haven't explored different way to look at art..things like that. I mean is anybody intrested at all? leave a comment.. ...Anways, heres mine for *Somthing from the Garage/Utility closet. I'll just keep on posting..maybe after awhile their'll be some intrest. Anyways, i was thinking since its summer and the days are hot, and the nights are cool..maybe we do a composition with that in mind.. *Warm and Cool composition, any medium: July 21st, 2009* What do you guys think? Everything is open, collage, abstract, real life, what ever. Anybody up for this? bajaja, or is it just going to be me doing this again? Im up for anything, i was going to do a couple water colors for the Hot & Cold Composition but i got too lazy. I'll hit this thread up tomarrow with the drawings i've got. Due date: Saturday 9-5-09 I used to work graveyards in a quiet casino type placewhen nobody was looking I used to do drawings of stuff or work in my blackbook This a guache/pen thing I did for when puddings go bad. There is a famous book in australia history called "the magic Pudding" by norman linsdsay. about a magic never ending plum pudding that leads people on a mission. My idea was if the puddings went rogue and started robbing people. here they are robbing two geishas that was the second one this is the first which was in an old black book! The first one here is my class notes in History, We were going over Theodore Roosevelt and the whole McKinley assassination. The rest are off my English notes, wasn't feeling the first project...so i decided to head off to the IronTriangle and see what those boys had cook'n. Enjoy, i'll have more tomarrow. I never thought much of comics or war until i read WarLizards, for some reason that hit me home base. Ever Since i've been loving comics and reading about Vietnam. I dont know what it was about those lizards, plus VaughnBode's ArtNouveu style. People will say that hes played out..whatever though, i really like Bode.
