The new firmware version is reportedly coming with “permissions fixes and other bug fixes,” which means that there might not be visible things included in the package. Moreover, Android Central states that the fixes are not meant to influence the regular use of the phone, but that they are something that developers will most certainly notice. BloodKlot Posted July 26, 2009 Share Posted July 26, 2009 HTC is great but the G1 could have used a lot of things done better. Like: 1. Standard headphone jack. 2. POP3 email has been know to have failed for 80% of users. 3. Better keyboard. 4. No syncing, oush, or Exchange support. 5. No accelerometer so some apps you must use touch pad keys because you can't turn on one side. ist goes on and on If you want a good phone wait for the HTC Touch Pro 2 coming out Aug 12th if there are no more hold ups with Tmobile and Verizon (supposed providers). Once a better release of the Android OS made then you can change your HTC TP2 over to that if you'd prefer. If you have any other questions you can't find on google. I'll be here for a bit.
