watson Posted July 7, 2009 Share Posted July 7, 2009 i have to make a powerpoint for my internship i'm at right now 1. i never made a powerpoint in my life, good thing the program is easy 2. i don't know where to look for decent ones other then bad template sites i've looked at templates and i hate how they all have that cheesy design feel to them anyone have a couple of good examples i could look at? they don't need to have animations or transitions Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
defer Posted July 8, 2009 Share Posted July 8, 2009 keep it super simple just like you were presenting your work via pdf. if the company has a decent brand behind it, brand the presentation and make it an overall template. really all you need is: - a title page that looks all nice and branded - a content page with a nice footer that repeats for every page with content (footer, branding elements, contact, etc) - spec'd out image sizes - a end page (a few alternates are always nice) that is the formula i've always used and it hasn't let me down. creating a template is always nice because instead of having you create every powerpoint presentation they could just enter the content into the template you set up. good luck. powerpoint is a bitch.
