The stage area was in the middle of some old fancy buildings...probably churches or something to do with Kings. Tickets for it started at 60Euro...but there were massive crowds of people standing outside of the barriers surrounding the paying area that were just hanging out and listening to him for free. The bridge was lined with lovers swaying together in romantic embraces. It was sweet. We could see the jumbotron and light show from where we were standing. I like short sets and no more than 5 or 6 bands on a bill tops, otherwise i generally get bored/tired of bands i don't give a shit about while waiting for bands i want to see. zebradrips Posted July 6, 2009 Share Posted July 6, 2009 yeah i don't even fuck with the shows usually. that's my hometown so when i go to fests and stuff there i tend to hang with the homies and play it pretty low key. although it is fun to watch all the lost little kids from florida riding around aimlessly looking for the party that they'll never find. there was one a few years ago that they got dj assault to play. apparently he's only like $400 to book. dj assault is like a forty-something super normal black guy. we were jumping all over the place during ass and titties and kept making his tables skip and he got rather miffed and packed up his shit and left. then the waste played and people were jumping from the balcony into the pit on inflatable rafts. never let it be said that the south does not get loose.
