SystemFailure
Totally forgot about the Warhammer 40K books. These ones were fantastic reads, good mixture of carnage and character development

delonemonkey
Totally forgot about the Warhammer 40K books. These ones were fantastic reads, good mixture of carnage and character development this whole series is really dope, there are a few books that aren't as well written as the others, but they are all really in depth and cool. I think legion was my favorite. Titanicus is quite sick as well

IOU
Vampires? I don't recall her doing that, but I did read her trilogy and Parable of the Sower which were all good. Not everyone's cup of tea though.
Ko SprueOne
There are some interesting books in this thread. Very glad to see many Philip K. Dick projects I've recently discovered Maschinen Krieger kits in 1/20 scale. This is an older series from the eighties, but I've just taken notice from Maschinen Krueger by Lin.K by Lin.K by Lin.K by Lin.K
defer
hard to believe no one has mentioned or any of the rama series. arthur c. clarke is that dude.
Mainframe
I mentioned the Rama series. The 2001 series is good too, but I still like Asimov more than Arthur C. Clarke.

SystemFailure
Ko, those are some rad models. They remind me of how much fun I had building Gundam models. IOU this is another author who I really really dig.He is undervalued in my opinion. His sci-fi is incredible and I think I already gave an example of his sci-fi. So if you are into fantasy novels as well this is a perfect series to start.
