ms.seyer
Naan bread, chicken curry vegetable samosa with tangerine sauce, and flavored rice-chawal is what I usually get when I have indian food.
Jackson
Indian food is the English national dish. We love it. Mango chutney. Put mango chutney on the side of your plate like ketchup. Epic win.
allfreetime
Most Indian places I been to (in the US) say they're 'Northern Indian'. I first learned about Indian food in Durban South Africa where the Sambals include chopped coconut and banana (very nice touch for cooling the heat). Never seen these in Sambals in the states. Is banana and coconut a South Indian thing? Or maybe just South African? Anyone know? Quick Sambals shot from a place in the UK to get you hungry. Maskface
Appreciated, other than mentioning korma in the original post. that shit is fuckin disgusting, i always considered korma as something people eat when they are too wary of trying anything else im talking vindaloo, ceylons, lamb rezallas, aloo chat, chicken saag, methi costh with garlic or keema naan bread, keema fried rice. peas pilau rice. Lime and chilli pickles, obligatory mango and raita, samosas and onion bhaji. makes my mouth water even thinking about it its addictive as well, if i go more than 2 weeks without real spicy food i get cravings. Also, being able to eat food that makes other people cough for water and brings tears to their eyes makes you feel like a man.
IOU
I was just talking to a coworker about this the other day. I need to step my game up and try some more, but I really ain't down with the spicy like I used to be..

If you are on some 'I ain't tryin that cuz them pakis be eating that der-hyuk'- i wish you luck. You are sincerely missing out. Almost every country makes curries for a reason- they're good.
