I'm driving on an expired license with an expired rejection sticker which revoked my registration. I'm on hold with the DMV to get the ball rolling but first I gotta pay my excise tax. I don't even know what that is but ok its 83 dollars on the car. But I can't just give em a credit card, I need to go down to their office and pay them. OK cool, but the warrant to collect doesn't say where the office is it just lists a telephone number. So I call the number and no one picks up it just sends me to an answering machine. I also gotta travel into town to pay old parking tickets as they also wont accept payment over the phone. I'm also staring at a 250 dollar medical bill (I thought it was going to be a check, was a research study). So I call the hospital and they say I need a referral. So I call my doc and get a referral. Then I call the hospital and say "Hey, you niggers, I got a referral," and they say ok call the insurance company. So I call the insurance company and they say call the hospital. So I said fuck it and just hope it works out in the end cause I don't understand the shit at all. I staight up told them "Listen, I don't know what the fuck I'm doing. I have insurance, how do I get my bills paid?" and the system is so convoluted that they themselves can't just tell me step by step how to do the shit. Anyone else suck at this kinda shit? : ps : Just found I have an excise tax in another city? WTF? : pps : Also I finished all my university credits but can't graduate till DECEMBER because I didn't realize I had to register for graduation in May. So I had to have the interlock. I couldnt get the interlock installed unless my car was legally drivable with a tag and insurance, but the DMV told me I couldnt put a tag or anything on my car until I had the interlock installed.....tell me where that makes sense. So this was the opportunity for the state to make a new charged fee in line with the rest of them that go hand in hand with a DUI. I had to pay 70 dollars to the DMV so they could in there computers press :enter: where it said I had to interlock. So it cost me 70 dollars to just wave that for the day.
