I have only heard other people do that for him, but not out of his mouth I remember reading a few comments last year from Raven talking about needing money to upgrade servers and how it all comes from his own pocket. This means 12oz is not supporting itself but needs an investor(Raven). Then the mod minions would start threads asking for peeps to support the store, buy premium memberships, and click the ad links to generate income. 12oz has 125,000 members, BS has 42,000 and is pulling in way more cash. Raven is sitting on a goldmine. BS sells ad space and promotes themselves, obviously they paid to run banners on 12oz. BS hosts contests and gives away free shit on the regular, you're lucky if you can squeeze a premium membership outta this place. I'm not hating on 12oz, I like this community the best but from a business perspective this place could use a major improvement and become a gold mine. Raven has made a lot of connections so he could easily network himself and turn FTHW into a huge business, right now it's pretty weakass compared to Bombing Science. Whoever is handling the money making side of 12oz should pull their head out of their ass, or be fired. This site could generate so much fucking money, the people that have been supporting the site for years wouldn't have so hear some faggot talking about hats each time they open a fucking thread. Even if person X doesn't want to deal with shipping out merchandise and taking orders, there are plenty of people willing to do the work for cash and/or free products. First you could have said when you started the thread hey i just got a hookup wholesale sales and maybe you guys can help me out. Leaving out your employer might have been the best bet. STAN51 started a thread marketing a business offer to the takers, seems logical that a graffiti website would sell graffiti supplies. Obviously 12oz wouldn't be stocking an online store by wholesaling from Bombing Science, that would be retarded(sorry STAN51). 12oz is based out of the states and Bombing Science is based out of Canada so there is distribution opportunities. 12oz could become an official USA distributor and has enough following that it could generate revenue. Most people that live in Canada that order from BS get their orders within a week, if you live in the USA and order from BS it has to cross borders and sometimes gets held up a customs. When writers talk about graffiti supply stores, Bombing Science is probably the best. When writers talk about graffiti forums, 12oz is untouchable.
