ThuggedOutGypsyz
I cant watch nba games, they're boring as fuck to me.. I would much rather catch a game at rucker or any good "streetball" game... I know the nba is a whole different level but its just like a ill pro boxing match your like "yo these niggas are going to kill each other" and the fight starts and its all this safe shit, yo i didn't pay to watch you faggots hug mo!!! thats just how i feel.... oh and : http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=JKlvfx9ODM8 Jordan
Mauler5150
Jordan for my money will be the best ever. He just had that 'fuck you all/i don't give a fuck what you throw at me' attitude that made him the best. Don't forget J used to play vicious headgames on his opponents and would win the psychological battles that take place on court before his team won the game. I watch the NBA on tv these days and it honestly, even though the players are supremely skilled, looks like shit with all these clowns and their wannabe thug tattoos. The average NBA player these days is almost somewhat of a caricature with all those tats and whatever other gimmick they personally have. Jordan made basketball popular, and when he retired, the worldwide interest in the game died off so much, that is one aspect that I don't think the people who live in the USA can grasp. I don't see anyone in the NBA arousing the general publics interest in the game like Jordan did, and for that reason alone, he will always be the best. It is pure marketing at the end of the day, and his playing record is undeniable. That said, I watched Slamball on tv and that is the shit. Fucking cunts running into each other, crazy dunks, it is more like Aussie rules with a basketball than actual basketball, ahhaa. Hella entertaining shit. DA KID MERO
Not quicker, not as versatyle, not as dynamic, not as big on stage, period. He will remain second, know this. I guess niggas really forgot. Numbers don't say shit when it comes to what Jordan did. DIABLO MANIN LA BOTASTE CON ESTA NOT QUICKER?! BRON GOT ONE OF THE MOST SERIOUS FIRST STEPS IN THE LEAGUE...NIGGA LOOK LIKE HE GOT THE BALL ON A STRING THE WHOLE TIME, NIGGA NEVER LOOKS LIKE HE'S OUTTA CONTROL WHEN HE TAKES THE BALL TO THE HOOP...MY SON IS JUST TOTAL DOMINATION ON THE COURT WHEN HE'S ON B. JORDAN WAS SOMETHIN SPECIAL IM JUST SAYIN LEBRON WOULD BEAT HIM BY 5 1ON1 AND MY NIGGA YOU GREW UP IN CHI, I GREW UP IN NY, WHILE EVERYONE WAS ON JORDANS DICK I HATED THAT NIGGA WITH MORE INTENSITY THAN REGGIE MILLER B. LIKE FOR REAL WHEN THAT NIGGA WOULD BEAT THE KNICKS I WOULD BE MAD AS FUCK FOR WEEKS...I WOULD ROOT FOR EVERY TEAM THAT PLAYED AGAINST THE BULLS EVERY GAME!! TO ME THIS IS THE MOST BEAUTIFUL MOMENT IN SPORTS HISTORY!! EVEN BETTER THAN THIS BUT EVEN THAT DOESN'T CLOUD MY VISION AND MAKE ME SAY THAT LIE THAT JORDAN IS A BUM, NIGGA WAS NASTY. POINT IS IN 10 YEARS WHEN BRON HAS A "LEGACY" NIGGAS WILL FORGET ABOUT MJ THE SAME WAY NIGGAS DONT REALLY TALK ABOUT MAGIC AND ISIAH THOMAS TODAY. NAH THATS NOT REALLY MY MAIN POINT MY MAIN POINT IS THAT LEBRON WOULD MOST DEF BEAT JORDAN 1ON1 AND I WOULD GO AS FAR AS TO SAY THAT THESE CAVS WOULD GIVE THOSE BULLS A RUN FOR THEY MONEY. FREIGHTYONE
I WOULD GO AS FAR AS TO SAY THAT THESE CAVS WOULD GIVE THOSE BULLS A RUN FOR THEY MONEY. This. Yo, shit changes, the game and the players evolve. Jordan NEVER played against players of this caliber - think about it, there's probably 15-20 players in the league who I consider dope, vs. the handful from back in the day That's life. I have this argument with ignorant highschool kids at work all the time, and the more I watch Lebron, the more I'm starting to agree with them, dude might be the truth. As far as Kobe, fuck him, I'm going to go ahead and say that he's hit his peak and that he'll never touch Lebron in three years or so. All this being said, I'm old enough to remember Jordan in his prime putting it on motherfuckers on a daily basis, so to me, he'll always be the greatest. /yesoldhead

DA_BEARS
Mero you my compa... But all I gotta say on this is that Lebron is without a doubt the future. He has all the tools to match if not surpass Jordan. This should be the year he starts collecting that NBA hardware, no doubt....But its not fair to compare Bron and MJ at this point in time. We need to step back and see what Lebron does after 12 years in the league until then feel free to compare pedigrees: MJ * 6× NBA Champion (1991, 1992, 1993, 1996, 1997, 1998) * 5× NBA MVP (1988, 1991, 1992, 1996, 1998) * 14× NBA All-Star (1985-1993, 1996-1998, 2002-2003) * 6× NBA Finals MVP (1991-1993, 1996-1998) * 1× NBA Defensive Player of the Year (1988) * 10× All-NBA First Team Selection (1987-1993, 1996-1998) * 1× All-NBA Second Team Selection (1985) * 9× NBA All-Defensive First Team Selection (1988-1993, 1996-1998) * 1985 NBA Rookie of the Year * 1985 NBA All-Rookie Team * 3× NBA All-Star Game MVP (1988, 1996, 1998) * 2× NBA Slam Dunk Contest winner (1987, 1988) * NBA's 50th Anniversary All-Time Team * 1× NCAA Men's Basketball Champion (1982) * 1982 ACC Freshman of the Year * 1× ACC Men's Basketball Player of the Year (1984) * 1× USBWA College Player of the Year (1984) * 1× Naismith College Player of the Year (1984) * 1× John R. Wooden Award (1984) * 1× Adolph Rupp Trophy (1984) * 1991 Sports Illustrated Sportsman of the Year * 2000 ESPY Athlete of the Century * 1990s ESPY Male Athlete Decade Award * 1990s ESPY Pro Basketballer Decade Award Lebron: * 3× Ohio Mr. Basketball (2001–2003) * 2003 Naismith Prep Player of the Year * 2004 NBA Rookie of the Year * 2004 Best Breakthrough Athlete ESPY Award * 2004 NBA All-Rookie Team * 3× All-NBA First Team (2006, 2008, 2009) * 2× All-NBA Second Team (2005, 2007) * 5× NBA All-Star (2005–2009) * 2× NBA All-Star Game MVP (2006, 2008) * 1× NBA All-Defensive First Team (2009) * 2008 NBA Scoring Champion * 2009 NBA Most Valuable Player Award And you cant say that Jordan wasnt being guarded out there...you tellin me that Detroit didnt have D back then? Jordan was playing against Olajuwon, Rodman, Mutumbo back in the day...Jordan in his prime woulda made Artest piss on himself out of frustration. Lebron might be a king but Jordan is a fucking GOD...

ILOTSMYBRAIN
I'll have to go ahead and agree with DA_BEARS. Lebron is going to have to get through some adversity, and win at least one title before I could even throw him into the same category. Dude is the most athletic basketball player I have EVER seen though.

cola0793
Lebron ain't reached his peak yet, Kobe has been at his peak for almost a decade. That could be an indication that, yes, Lebron is the FUTURE, Kobe is now, and MJ will always be the biggest name of the past. This reminds me of the Wilt vs. Shaq comparisons. It can never happen, but everyone's got an opinion on who would win and why whens the last time shaq scored 100 points in 1 game NEVER
ButtMiester
No one should ever score 100 points in a game, the only thing that proves is you're a ball hog who can dunk. AKA 95% of basketball players right now.
TheoHuxtable..
whens the last time shaq scored 100 points in 1 game NEVER Chamberlain scored against a weak team during a time when there were hardly any 7-footers in the league. And there certainly weren't any 7-footers defending him in that game.
