prominence does not equal properness.

50mil,

citing it's usage in 13th century england does not make it acceptable by todays standards, unless you'r a direct holdover from the 13th century, in which you'd be over 800 years old, which is impossible

anyways is what's considered a 'non-standard' word, which puts it in line with 'conversate, and irregardless', which is to say it gets used, but only by people who do not know any better.

"Irregardless" gets on my nerves as well.

When someone uses it (usually to emphasize a point) I'll say something like "You do realize that what you just said makes no sense, right?" Then after the blank look I'll explain that it implies a double negative...to which the usual answer is "Well, you know what I mean." No, I don't...that's why I asked you to clarify it for me.

Most of my friends are fairly well spoken, though.

spelling errors dont bother me much, unless its mixing up the yours or theres, then it becomes a different situation.

THESE WORDS ARE SIMPLY, NEOLOGISMS.

MEXICAN-AMERICAN SPANGLISH SPEAKERS ARE THE WORST AT THIS.

EXAMPLE: "WASHETERIA" = "LAUNDRY MAT"

That one makes me nauseous.

I completely agree, "Vamanos to lunché" makes me want to pour boiling coffee on puppies, and i hear that every day.
