redeyedanimal Posted May 26, 2009 Share Posted May 26, 2009 I'm court ordered to aa/na meetings, and i agree, some of them suck. but the deal with them is to find someone, just one person, that you can really relate to, and hang out with that guy. This will basically give you a partner in sobriety and someone you grow to care about (nh) to be accountable to. It works for a lot of people i know. I've had a few drinks atleast since I was 17, started way before that but it's been constant since then. growing pot got me into this shit, but i'll admit, being clean and sober isn't all that bad.
