Mr. & Mrs. Time Gone By

This is next based on my reading pattern of Fiction - Nonfiction - Fiction - Nonfiction...

Mr. & Mrs. Time Gone By, finished. A collection of short stories that are basically Pulp Fiction. Lots of action, violence, and loneliness.

Next up starting tomorrow will be, Violence Girl, Alice Bag.

Just finished Barbarian Days by William Finnegan. Surfing and travelling before it was mainstream and fancy charter boats etc. Good read although a bit rambling at times. His description of surfing and the people/emotions is great. The end was a little weak but it was a biography so not really a Hollywood climax

Also just finished into thin air by John krakauer. Harrowing tale of Everest summit gone terribly wrong. Short and to the point. Great book                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                          Now I'm also trying to write books, but it's not working out very well. I recently tried using nursing writing services and they helped me a lot. Although I am still far from perfect writing, I am just learning to write. So I think I just need to read more books for experience

I love Everest books, I recommend The Third Pole: Mystery, Obsession and Death on Mount Everest by Mark Synnott (2021)
This new book about Everest depicts both the mystery of the mountain and the misery of people preoccupied with endless pleasure. It helps the reader understand the mountain, the history of the climb and Mark Synnot's journey up the famous north face.
