earl broclo ESQ
I sort of do a blog for myself as well. http://kid-dipshit.blogspot.com/ I only have a couple of friends really looking at it, but I mostly just drop music I like on there. If any of you have a blogger account, add me and I'll do the same. I rarely post because I feel it's a waste of time seeing as nobody really looks at it. If people are checking in, let me know. earl broclo ESQ
No. Sorry man. I don't do anything with downloading music online, or buying. To be honest, I haven't bought a record in months and I'm jonesing for the time when I can afford to spend like that. If I see anything, I'll hit you up. shai
I'm more of a jazz funk person myself. Sadao Watanabe & Hiroshi Fukumura - Hunt Up Wind(1978) http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=rKOUcz1uQXg I got a fair amount of jazz funk in the trade, but it's not figuring well into the mix. I've got seven songs lined up so far, we'll see where it goes from here.
`Melinoe
Wow I remember listening to Sadao Watanabe when I was about 10. I hate i let that CD get cracked. It was amazing. I'm a jazz funk fan, myself.
shai
Jazz funk is cool when it works in the mix, but I like to use soul as a springboard and go from there into funk, disco, rap, jazz, library, acid jazz, bossa, etc. I couldn't do a whole mix using strictly jazz funk, It would just get boring after about four or five songs. But that's just me...
`Melinoe
I feel that way about anything really. I find myself listening to a ton of funk stuff but its often mixed in with other genres and such. I get too bored with anything. I guess thats why its rare I can make it through one track straight forward.
