earl broclo ESQ
Yeah, we have Japanese interns and one of them recorded the set list for that show. Things might have got lost in translation. Thanks for the heads up. If you're ever in NYC, check out Good Records. They have a ton of vinyl that sometimes goes as high as the 4 digit price point. I was in there and saw a Ghetto Brothers album, thinking it was a reprint I asked how much it was, $800.00. Damn.

earl broclo ESQ
Nice! I never understand why these bands stay in their little suits and shit for a hot club. Fuck it, the clothes don't make the show, the music does. Be fucking comfortable. I don't need to look at a trumpet player who looks like he got a golden shower! redstripe
Another neo-soul group with a classic and authentic soul sound is Kings Go Forth. While they are only a few years old, their lead singer Black Wolf was previously in the group The Essentials whom recorded in Curtis Mayfield's studio back in the 70's. Check them out. Super dope.

earl broclo ESQ
^^Real nice track right there. Daptone definitely puts out solid tracks. My favorite is this 45: Binky Griptite & The Mellomatics - Mellomatic Mood The 45 is split into an A and B side so I had to buy two if I want to play the full duration of the song. I think that youtube link has the whole song though. He teamed up with the Sugarman 3 for this one: Sugarman 3 is worth checking out as well. DON_FRANCISCO
is there a way to download these mixes. i was trying to download that one mix with freddy hubbard's red clay in it, but every time i click on the download link it opens a new tab with a stand alone player.
earl broclo ESQ
Yeah, you need to right click/save as the download tab. If you're on a Mac/Laptop, and don't have a right click, just hold CTRL and click on the download tab. It will give you the drop down and then click "Save as" and it will save it as an MP3 file. There's over 500 mixes on there man. Have fun.
