Perhaps realizing the gravity of what he had done, and listening to the blind panic of other trolls, he decided that he no longer would troll Chris and, along with a few other trolls now shitting themselves, decided to hand in his badge and gun. Completely understanding the concept of anonymity while committing what is obviously something both fucked up and illegal, his IRC handle is clearly mentioned by other trolls telling him to stop.
