e2ekillr
It's "the Big Lie" in practice. This has nothing to do with making the internet or the world at large safer, it's about controlling something that was never possible to control by design. . what he said. this bitch wants to censor internet here in Germany. her party is currently in power so i'm afraid she will get through. at least theres a petition running which got signed over 40,000 times in 3 days. if it reaches 50,000 till 16th June they have to discuss it in the Bundestag (parlament). theres also a chance that such a law will not pass the Constitutional Court, but rather slim. also, swedish, finnish and danish providers already have to "block" sites that are on their respective lists of "dangerous websites". these lists are secret/confidential. we have general elections in september but i doubt that these fucktard conservatives will get booted out of office. FUCK.

shai
The lists aren't that hard to find. What's crazy is that the people who push bills like this use something like kiddie porn or terrorism (or something 99.99999% of the population can live without) and anyone who says "Hey, wait a second, there's more to this than ___________, check it out" will get branded as a pedophile or terrorist. It never fails to amaze me that most people don't stop to educate themselves and consider all of the possibilities of whatever law or measure they're voting on, since all they hear is that the status quo is evil and anyone who says different is a sympathizer. I'm glad to hear that it got voted down, though.
