I'm biting my tongue (ALOT) on that car but I will say this: I know and respect the rarity of a well-built BMW as I once had a 3.5l 5-speed E34 that never needed oil on cross country road trips through unforgiving alien landscapes, but between the BMW and the following, which would you rather have?

Exactly. Looks like a car only a lover of german weather could own. Stuffing a big engine into a little body isnt a new idea. Czech these out:

That E30 with the v10 is insane, I hope it didnt ruin the weight distribution/balance the e30 is renowned for. Traction issues with the torque would be nothing but fun. There is also a white e30 floating around with the same e60 v10 but bi-turbo.

That 930 911 with the LS2/3? engine would be horrible to drive. Already the car is unbalanced in the rear and the added weight of the LS2/3? engine would ruin the car even more.

ALL bmws are known for 50/50 weight distribution. The E30 is known for its unibody, and there's no fucking way that frame isnt going to torque under that kind of power. The extra cagework isnt enough. It's a terribly overdesigned piece of shit.

Seeing pics of these old cars reminded me of something. When I was a kid, in my parents neighborhood not too far in the woods at edge of a field off of dirt road that led to a saltwater marsh creek there was an old Studebaker sedan. The car belonged to my grandfather, on my dad's side. The house my parents live in and that I grew up in once belonged to him. At one time my grandpa's cousin and her husband were staying with them temporarily and my grandpa let him use the car to get to and from work, the dude was a Navy sailor. The cousin's husband wrecked it not far from the house, abandoned it, went awol on the Navy and bounced back home to Alabama. My grandfather just drove it into the woods and left it there. Can't get pics because there is a new section of the neighborhood built there now and it is since gone.
