T4M*
Great, I cant find a site where you dont have to be a member to download wii games. Is there such thing as Wii Torrents? And how do I go about burning the games?
TheoHuxtable..
Wii is the most overrated system of the 3.

I downloaded the instruction videos to my ipod to follow along, but at some spots, it didnt look the same like on the videos. Im using DVD-R to burn the games, which i think it doesnt matter what i use, and im using this program.... I ran out of DVDs so i have to buy more tomorrow Cus i burnt it on auto. Ill burn it at a lower speed like two. Still gay cuz i have the h0mebr3w installed and everything, and nothing. even got the preloader installed. johnneh7
this looks legit, maybe itll give me a reason to actually play that white dust collector instead of the 360 or PS3. i still haven't connected my wii to the internet though, would that be a problem or no? i dont feel like ordering the special cord to hook it to an ethernet cable, and i cant use wireless cuz of all the greedy mufuckas around me. poes
Sooo... After a bit of trouble I managed to install all the shit i need to play backed up games. Casek, I read somewhere i need to buy some special LG drive to copy games... that true? How do you do it? IM guessing the options to get copied games are: -download torrent iso -get iso from wii over network -possibly get iso through usb stick but didnt actually find out how
lord_casek
http://wiibrew.org/wiki/Homebrew_apps/Homebrew_Browser poes: you need dvd dumper. http://www.gbatemp.net/index.php?showtopic=98272 that way you can pop in a real disc and dump it across a netowrk into an iso file on your desktop. then you burn it. or you can just go to popular torrent sites and find games to downlaod. i recommend ntsc or you can use regionfrii and turn it into an ntsc game... johnneh7
for that homebrew browser wouldnt i need the internet? or is it not what it sounds like?
poes
There is the homebrew channel. Which lets you load shit from SD card. Then there is the homebrew browser which lets you download stuff straight from the net.
lord_casek
you can pretty much download everything from the computer and transfer it to the sd card if you don't have wifi.

My wii's been sitting there untouched for a while. I can run games even though I have the 4.0 update, can't i? I managed to install all the stuff from that instructable stage (IOS249 took a lot of work) but its all installed. I havent got round to trying a back up game yet. Its hard to tell cos alot of the guides are old and talk about earlier versions than 4.0.
lord_casek
yeah, as long as you followed the guide, installed dvdx and neogamma or gammaloader.
