@bigdoughnut69 re: Snowtown. I saw that at the cinema. Grizzly stuff! True story. Of the 10 people that were in the theatre, 6 walked out. It shook me but that's Australian cinema at its finest. Real.

Watched Animal Kingdom last night. Much better, less trash, characters were mostly likeable and the

ending threw me a bit. What's up with incest happening in every household in Australia???

Would recommend.

Django was proper. Haven't enjoyed a movie like that in a while.

Caught it yesterday on the Justin.tv hack via appletv 2.

i'm not sure if it was you or someone else who hit me with the Apple TV hack bizzness in my netflix thread but god dammit if i didn't get rid of mine recently i'd be hollerin at you on the matter.

Saw "DRIVE" w/Gossling.

First half of movie was so fucking slow.

I'm also tired of this "cinematic" style of actors starring at each other with this "art-house" implied dialogue. Style is pretty lame. Probably could have axed 30 mins of him and the girl looking at each other and not speaking.

That said, 2nd half is really where the movie starts and is pretty good.

LA Jew mobster actually became a believable villain, which surprised me.

I would only recommend watching when it comes on cable.

It was OKAY, not poor but not exceptional. Alfred was such an interesting bloke, they had so much they could have used but didn't. I dunno, I'm obsessed with the man so maybe I'm not the best judge. It was nice they gave Alma some of her due credit though. I wish Hopkins would get a voice coach, he still sounds Welsh in everything he does.

I watched 'It Could Happen to You' on tv last night, Nic Cage man hah

I'd been meaning to watch this movie since I first heard of it ('09… slow much?) because Tom Ford directed it and he is my God.

Finally watched last night……

I remember it copping a bit of shit when released. No idea why, though. It's a sensory overload. So beautiful to look at I get chills just thinking about every perfect detail... Very Tom Ford.

It's about gay love so you'll all dig it.

Based on the novel by Christopher Isherwood.

So I watched Dead Mine last night after seeing the trailer and it didn't look to bad. I don't know if it was the shitty T.V or I was real drink but it was shit. I mean nothing happened in the likes of fights and zombie slaying everyone got trapped, they found the zombies and they all died. It had the potential to be a fucking great movie the idea was cool it was just put together crap and needed a good director.

Do not watch

Watched the new Die Hard today at a little theater down in Columbia City, it was okay, firmly in the tradition of the franchise and a lot better than the last one. Critics are hating on it but in the same reviews acting like the other Die Hard movies are some real pieces of cinema.

Saw Mama in a Vietnamese cinema, the movie was ok but what made it was the Viet girls crying and screaming everytime shit went down or was going to happen.

I watched it last night. It was definitely a good scare but having a kid on the way makes it a bit more terrifying. God, I hope my kid isn't a creep.

Watching Argo now. Hopefully it lives up to the hype.
