theprotester
While I regurlarly sessioned IPA. Every single day for about ten years. I still am vehemently opposed to IPA and session appearing on a brew. Good day sir.
Hua Guofang
And indubitably do I concur wit thee. Shalt the liquor monger retained any of the Modus Sonic Prayer IPA surely would I have partaken suchly in the stead of this ghostly brew that is indeed, hardly a brew at all.

Hua Guofang
Okayish, respectable but not something I'd make a habit of drinking.
Hua Guofang
Good beer, sweetish bitter, syrupy and strong.
Hua Guofang
This is some hefty ale. Super strong malt with mid bitterness. Few of these and your troweled right the fuck up.
theprotester
Mash has done some good stuff over the years. Good to see them distributing wider these days.
Hua Guofang
Decent, worth the effort but not huge and/or full.
Hua Guofang
An "American IPA", which means citra, galaxy, etc., and usually sweet. This is not so sweet and syrupy. It has real bitterness, something I think the usual AIPAs sometimes lack. So this is a pretty good beer, IMO To add, at AUD$7 - USD$5 a bottle in a bar craft beer is a load cheaper in Vic than it is in Canberripoff. Hua Guofang
Bordering on a red (actually has red malts in it) this is burnt caramel American drop with a pretty nice bitter-sweetness (like the slow dragging blues playing in the next room). Nice, full, heavy.
Hua Guofang
Another AIPA, pretty dang good. From geelong, Victoria; touch sweeter, less on the malt and more on the hops - just the way we likes it.
Hua Guofang
A good, straight forward, standard, honest-quality IPA. I really like this, could be both a summer BBQ beer and a winter stew ale in one. Even the glass is fucking cool - it's the only one in this B&B suit but it's old and it's real (also a miniature of my fav schooey that I bought from a charity shop in Ulladulla). Hua Guofang
This is one of the coolest job joints I've stayed in. I'm at an aerospace And defense expo for work surrounded by tools of death And artifacts of failure. It's really nice to come back and stay somewhere so honest and decent feeling. Everything is thick and wooden. The colors are deep and familiar. The floor creaks and the cutlery is heavy, mismatched and stamped to the piece. This place is a mix between my Nan & Pop and Norman Lindsay together with Charles Dickens over a table of ale and crusts.
Hua Guofang
Confusing, I know. That's a mix of my suite and communal areas. Less than AUD$200 a night for the suite, close to cool restaurant and bar street. Fucking gen. Will come simply to be here together with my wife. Hua Guofang
I feel like listening to Nick Cave, panning for gold and developing scurvy.
Hua Guofang
This was almost perfect. Hope I can find it again one day.
Hua Guofang
Paid $10 for a fucking 3.5 session IPA. Felt like throwing at the bar maid for not knowing her product.
Hua Guofang
Brew dog punk ale from Scotland. Decent, flavoursome IPA, maybe just a touch too sweet
Hua Guofang
This beer is faithful to its hardcore claims. 9.5 booze percents and big flavs. Got to down it quick too, plane to catch.

Hua Guofang
Tell hm that $10 for a mid strength beer (with mid-strength flav) is a fucking crime. I can see why they call it a throwback because it's similar to an under-sized fish!
Hua Guofang
This is definitely an IPA rather than a pale. Seriously overpriced as well at AUD$30 a six pack. Glad I only bought 1. Full flavor but not the kind that would keep me coming back.

One Man Banned
This shit was pretty damn good, as a lot of their beers are. Good flavor profile, you get the cherry up front followed by the maple and finished with the bourbon on the back end. Not as fruity as their raspberry brew. Would drink again. Hua Guofang
Had something similar recently. It was a red but not a lambic, aged in whiskey barrels, and you could not miss that in the flavor. Malty as hell, minimal hops and heavy flavor. Not an every day drop and best suited for chillier climes.
Hua Guofang
Greatest yawn ever bottled, may as well have Carlton, Resches or something similar on the label.
Hua Guofang
This was interesting enough with a lot more character than many of the pales getting around these days.
