for those that know riverside this park is on 96th street and was an RTW spot back in the late 70's when every neighborhood was bombed thorough with great hands. This park was also the spot where Cyrus get's shot in The Warriors which adds to the legendary status to me. I always tried to see who was on the walls in the movie but you never really get to see all I know is that shit looked crazy bombed and today it's as white as Howard Beach. Anyways found some photos that BILROCK RTW posted and it was like that first bump of coke you ever do.

"soho wall, maybe Greene street 1977-78. BILROCK had rented a very raw loft on Greene street for the summer for $175.00 a month, complete with no bathroom. The guys renting the other half of the floor were kind enough to allow everyone to use their bathroom. They put up with quite alot with the likes of BILROCK and other RTW members like RASTA, TREAD 1, PETRO, and SAURON who crashed there often. Another regular there was BILROCK’s then homeless friend Jean-Michel Basquiat(aka.SAMO) At the time BILROCK was writing SAGE and GRUNT. BILROCK had briefly went to school with him at City-AS school. Much of that summer of ‘77 was spent bombing the streets of Soho, Tribeca, and the village with him. Other regulars were Wade Haebel aka. “The Kissing Bandit”, dubbed by the Daily News due to his robbery spree of Davids cookie spots. Upon exiting he would politely kiss the girls who worked there once he had the bag of loot and cookies filled up, Al Diaz(aka.BOMB 1, SAMO), Alex Rabinovich and others. Several of them also worked and/or hung out at the nearby ice cream joint on Spring street “Wallys”. BILROCK worked there as well…lasting only one day. He couldnt resist giving away free ice cream to everyone. He lasted a bit longer that summer at the Carvel on Sullivan and 3rd."

Lot of people, you know what I`m sayin, they be gettin misinformed

thinkin everything is everything, that you could just get yourself

a little deal, whatever, youknowhatI`msayin you gonna get on you

gonna get rich. And all these labels be trying to lure us in like

spiders, into the web, knowhatI`msaying. So sometimes people gotta

come out and speak up, and let people understand, that you know you

gotta read the label you gotta read the label if you don`t read the

label you might get poisoned...

I wonder why there are so many homeless people, I thought everyone could afford New York? Oh wait..

It's a shame they had to build only condo's everywhere. If they cared more about people than business this city would be much better off

according to KET he's been told that he has to ask the 34th precinct's permission to paint any more murals. I'd like to take a moment to say EAT A DICK NYPD that was a chump move and you don't even want to discuss why it was removed because you're all a bunch of unintelligent next nigga to get the job Joey Buttafuoco egotistical airheaded type mother fuckers.

One cop fits all, you know what I mean?

The Blue Wall of Silence is what's wrong with the NYPD. Respect to all of the Adrien Schoolcraft's out there. There are good, even great cops out there but they almost never speak out against fellow officers when they are in the wrong. It comes with VERY dire consequences since the NYPD will defend a corrupt, drug smuggling, gun running, ticket scamming and rapist cop before defending a "rat".

this is just one article but the Village Voice has done many articles in the past year detailing, and revealing just about every awful thing the NYPD has to offer. Much to the commissioners dismay.

[Verse One:]

(blam) Aww shit, another young brother hit

I better go over my man's crib and get the pump

Cause to the cops, shootin brothers is like playin baseball

And they're never in a slump

I guess when they shoot up a crew, it's a grand slam

And when it's one, it's a home run

But I'ma be ready with a wild pitch

My finger got a bad twitch, plus I'm on the switch --

-- side, and step up to the batter's box

Fuck red and white, I got on Black Sox

But let him shoot a person from the White Sox

What's the call? Foul ball!

Babe Ruth woulda made a good cop, but he didn't

Instead he was a bigot, dig it

My life is valuable and I protect it like a gem

Instead of cops gettin me I'm goin out gettin them

And let em cough up blood like phlegm

It's grim (blam blam) but dead is my antonym

And legally they can't take a fall

Yo check it out it's just a friendly game of baseball

[Verse Two:]

R.B.I. -- real bad injury

But don't get happy you're in jail for a century

Just as bad as bein shot in the groin

To see who'll shoot ya, they'll flip a coin

And watch him run for the stretch

But you don't know the man is at home waitin to make the catch

So the outfielder guns you down

You're out, off to the dugout, underground

I know a cop that's savage, his pockets stay green like cabbage

Cause he has a good batting average

No questions, just pulls out the flamer

(blam) And his excuses get lamer

Once a brother tried to take a leave

But they shot him in his face sayin he was tryin to steal a base

And people watch the news for coverage on the game

Hmm, and got the nerve to complain

They need to get themselves a front row seat

Or sink a baseline for a beat

Cause television just ain't designed for precision y'all

It's just a friendly game of baseball

[Verse Three:]

A kid caught on, but I don't know where the brother went

The umpires are the government

I guess they took him out the game, and replace him

with a pinch-hitter, in the scam he was a quitter

So the cops usually torment, I mean tournament

Win em I was sayin

You can't let the umpires, hear ya speak and battle

like the other kid you won't be playin

Cause they'll beat you til your ass drop

A walking gun with a shell in his hand is their mascot

And when they walk around let it be known to step lightly

The bases are loaded

My man got out from three strikes

In the skull but the knife he was carrying was dull

Instead of innings, we have endings

What a fine way to win things

And hot-dog vendors have fun

Sellin you the cat rat and dog on a bun

And when you ask what is all of this called?

It's just a friendly game of baseball
