Typically bad BBC report

One Sunni tribal leader believes the Iranian president is coming here "to organise more terrorist operations in Iraq".

Well then if one random guy believes it then that is worth putting in the opening of the article.

The United States also believes

the US military said

They said he was also

This is the type of 'journalism' you perform when you don't leave the green zone.

But Iran regards the US as an occupation force in Iraq, and considers resistance to be legitimate.

This doesn't even get a source, are you fucking serious? I am not even going to touch on 'regards the US as an occupation force in Iraq'.

Before leaving for Iraq, Mr Ahmadinejad laughed off American accusations of Iranian interference.

"Is it not funny that those with 160,000 forces in Iraq accuse us of interference?" he asked.

The official enemy made a fairly solid and obvious statement... Ahmadinejad commented.... Ahmadinejad said... Ahmadinejad laughed off... what a crazy nut.

The president will also avoid the Green Zone, as to gain access to this area - home to the huge American Embassy and numerous Iraqi government offices - vehicles are required to stop at US checkpoints.

And few American troops would want to wave through a man many in the US believe was one of the students who kidnapped American diplomats in Teheran for 444 days soon after the fall of the Shah in 1979.

Here is the only piece of Iranian 20th century history worth bringing up... again, I cannot fucking believe I am reading some of this shit.

Despite decades of bad blood, Iran is a potential US ally - against al-Qaeda and the Taleban in Afghanistan.

Taleban? Oh fuck off you are an international journal, did you seriously just write taleban?

Shia Iran has little in common with the fundamentalist Wahhabists of the Taleban and al-Qaeda.

So... just like Iraq before...

According to diplomats

Well we can rest easy...

It was enlightened self-interest.

According to the diplomats still? Or did you just start a paragraph with a four sentence word and sneakily make out like it was something other than your own smug words?

It is ironic that both threats to Iranian stability were removed... by the US.

HAHAHAHAHAHAHHA ARE YOU FUCKING SERIOUS?!!?!?!?!?! IS THIS REALLY THE ICING ON THE CAKE COMING IN ON THE LAST SENTENCE? Incredible.

A random guy who a few thousand people take orders from. Not sure why the "taleban" part angers you, but if its the E thats not a typo, the brits write it like that because they have better diction than us. And this captsgekwa51140807220240photo04ph_2.jpg

is more along the lines of the journalism you get when the journalists dont leave the green zone...the caption was that these are some of the bullets the americans fired into her house. You might not catch it right away.

i thought i would check the reliable foxnews to see how they reported the story.

its actually much better than the bbc version. compare the two and then you can see what Mushroom is talking about in regard to the very poor reporting. the bbc report only mentions HOW the president is travelling to iraq. nothing to do with WHY he is there.

does anyone have any links for good independent news sites?

I can see why this guy has the red tampon.

Christ.

Why don't you suggest an article, then..

Its called analyzing a piece of big media reporting it and it bares no reflection on you as a poster of this forum. Did you want us to discuss the piece? I'm assuming thats what you wanted because you posted it you fucking stupid cunt.

Nice negative props as well. From this we can gather that its clear you cannot even follow what is a very basic conversation.

You are a stupid fucking idiot.
