It happened around 6 p.m. in North Austin in the 10500 block of Lark Court.Family and neighbors are obviously upset over the death of the Hispanic 5-year-old boy. The victim's father was working on a 1975 pick-up in the backyard and had the hood open while he was trying to repair the carburetor. Another child less than 5 years old put the truck in reverse. Police won't say whether or not the children were related.
