Dirty_habiT Posted November 3, 2019 Share Posted November 3, 2019 I tried making pizza on a full sized bagel earlier in the week using a large pepperoni to cover the hole (/nohomo?). The sauce made the bagel soggy by the time it was hot enough to melt the cheese. The idea was good, the execution was wrong. Toast the bagel first if you intend to try this. Next time I’ll need to order double beef with extra sauce. I’m heading back to Chicago next week, I’m definitely ordering that again. I never came into this thread because I thought it was about pizza.... and I always wondered, how you guys have so much discussion about pizza. Now I know what is really going on in here. You guys never cease to amaze. edit: while I'm here.... I looked back a few pages, and some of this "gourmet" pizza looks like garbage. You can't just make dough, throw some sauce and cheese on it, and put whatever the fuck you want on it.... I mean this is the culinary equivalent to throw up.
