Don't go to those casinos if you don't like the way they do business. We still have our American right to choose where we spend our money. I personally think that it is really two-faced that because the Indian casinos aren't going to be watched over by the US that people are getting upset. Before this topic, when was the last time anyone stopped to think of how they could better the Natives lives? Maybe in the Lakota cecession thread? And outside of 12oz probably much, MUCH longer than that. Leave these fuckers alone, if you don't want your money going to the rich natives don't give it to them. And I know about who owns the casinos. But unless you've lived or have family that live on the reservation, you don't know dick. Casinos ran by white people aren't even whats fucking up natives lives. Its them thinking that their lives are hopeless. If they really wanted to improve their lives, they would finish high school and go to college..get a damn education..which almost none of them do. Not to mention how easy it is for a native to go to a college for almost FREE. Hell, theres a school in New Mexico where if your more than half, you get in for free. It attracts people to actually want to come to a place that normally, nobody would go unless they are trying to stock up on cheap cigarettes. Bottom line is, native americans need to start wanting to move up in life and most of them don't even realize how easy it is. And whats fucked up is, I have relatives who tell their kids to basically go nowhere in life and just stay here on the rez and help the family out.
