Dr. Phil Posted January 30, 2008 Share Posted January 30, 2008 I did 120 days on house arrest a few years back. had an ankle braclet that kept me within200 feet of my house. if I stepped out the perimiter, I was in for a 16 month stay. fortunately I had a pizza joint, bar and corner store right on my block. I could still have somewhat of a life but that shit kept me nutzo. they pre-made a route I had to take to work and if I detoured off that path... I was in the shit. it wasn't too bad. I spent the majority of my time working on beats and managing my record label. caught up on tons of flicks, threw a grip of parties and just drew and drew and drew. like someone mentioned before, house arrest aint exactly a life of glamour but it aint jail at the same time. be thankful. AyeBee Posted February 19, 2008 Author Share Posted February 19, 2008 So after a few delays (the last one self imposed since I didn't wanna miss some shit that's coming up) my house arrest finally starts on February 25th. Well, the 25th I turn myself into the ACI, serve a day there, then come out and get my government jewelry the 26th. I won't be off til May 25th, then with my extended probation and an added suspended sentence I'll have bullshit jail time hangin over my head til May 25th, 2009. I was pretty much all set with the idea of house arrest until last week, when it was sprung on me that i can't do the shit at my own house, all because my roomate has ONE fuckin misdemeanor vandalism charge...shit is absolutely fuckin retarded. So, now I hafta go back to my sister's for the next 3 months. I mean, it's not that bad since I used to live there and it's like my own apartment anyways, so I can still do what I want...way better than goin back to the parents crib. There are, however, a few problems...number one, it just sucks terribly that I hafta be payin bills and shit at my crib and not even be able to fuckin go there, like what the fuck? Also, my sister now has the power to make one phone call and have me shipped to jail for a few months, which I could easily see her doing since she's called the cops on me before. the only thing saving me from that, I think, is the fact that my father would straight up disown the bitch if she pulled that All in all, house arrest got alot shittier, but is still definately better than jail. MOE-LESTER Posted February 19, 2008 Share Posted February 19, 2008 getting demoted is all part of life, i used to have a nice car, good social shiet, more things to get into. now im on house arrest to a small extent. im in the sticks, with no valid drivers license cus im suspended til july, so i got nowhere to go. ive been drivin on the low to work and shit, but its not like i can hit the malll on the weekends or drive drunk. im basically stuck in my place all day after work, and i pass my time through Jamaican rum and purple kush. and yes anything i bs better than jail, being able to sleep in your own bed is such a luxury. TreSixO Posted February 19, 2008 Share Posted February 19, 2008 by default here in pretty much any county your most simple probation has a claused for not being intoxicated -you are subject to blood tests for alcohol that being said I kjnow dudes tghat have done felpny bids and been on state / county parole and community corrections and they never checked them because pretty much the only way to get caught is to roll into your POs office drunk. AyeBee Posted February 19, 2008 Author Share Posted February 19, 2008 I was drunk and she was doing her usual bitch at me and talk shit like she's my mother thing I told her to get the fuck out of my room and she wouldn't, and this was when I lived there, so I payed half of everything, same as her. i told her if she didn't get out I'd make her get out. She didn't, so I did. After that she told me to get the fuck out cuz she was callin the cops blah blah, but in my drunken state I didn't care so i just layed down. My boy stayed up and listened to her call the cops, then hang up. About a minute later it must have clicked in her head what I/my dad would do to her if they came, especially since I was on probation, so she called back and told them nevermind.
