gun thread

Recommended Posts

That's not the point. The point is demonstrating that no set of laws, short of outlawing welders, drill presses, sheet metal, and fucking drainpipes, will ever remove guns from any country or society. Because even with the most rudimentary tools anybody with a slight mechanical inclination can make firearms, strangely enough, it's actually easier to build a full auto than a simi. Where there is a will there is a way.

no I get that. the thing is that in order to duplicate that work you need to be pretty skilled and well equipped.

at this point I think it is safe to agree that "banning" or removing guns is essentially impossible.

Eh that was probably aimed at me (pun intended)

Super cool idea but as ralphie said, I have neither the tools or the skills reqd.

Def worth it to spend the time & $ for an unregistered firearm for the right person though.

Seems like shooting w one of those would be way more pleasant

You even need ear protection?

I've only shot that suppressor on an indoor range where other people were shooting without suppressors, so I couldn't say for sure. If it would be safe to shoot anything through it without hearing protection, it would probably be subsonic .300blk outdoors. I won't really know for 6-8 months.

My .22 suppressor, however is quiet enough to shoot in my basement without ear pro, and without the neighbors hearing...

I saw this and I was so scared, I thought it was one of those "assaulting weapons". I mean it's black, it has a shoulder thing that goes up, the super lethal flash suppressor. But then I noticed it's lack of bayonet lug and pistol grip that extends conspicuously below the action of the weapon and I realized it's perfectly safe. Thank you Dear Leader for removing such hyper killing features from the State.

finally riveted my rebuild kits today

the mags wont seat with the rifle in battery when all 10 rounds are loaded

mags seat just fine out of battery or when i only load 9 rds.

gonna load em up and leave them be for a few days and hope the springs loosen a bit

Agreed about the skulls

I plan on doing an 80% lower for my next build... Tossing around the idea of an etched Mickeys hornet

Never used an aimpoint. Don't like because of function or look or ?

Function, I'm sure they make a decent optic, but I've yet to use one that didn't feel and function like a POS.

r u serious? i have a micro and its pretty dope. i have heard nothing about eotech except "stay away" due to battery life and reliability issues.

the aimpoint PRO seems like the best deal out there now for a quality red dot (~$400)

Props for the mag link

That comic could be AK vs AR too

A buddy has an eotech.... Batts have died 2 outta the 5 times we've shot

Maybe they drain while stored?

Crosshairs or iron sights for me
