Official Grown ass Man Thread

I have rented at 5 different places in the last 3 yrs. Take medication to sleep so I get up to work every morning. Stay in on Friday nights on occasion to make up sleep from the week. Balance my checkbook multiple times during the week expecting money to magically show up. Have friends who have 3 kids plus. Seen a few divorces from friends. Start going to local bars and realizing that most of the kids in there were 8 when i graduated high school.

I refuse to go to the club any more, I used to be all about that shit. I came to this realization when I went a few times after I moved to NYC and really hated it. Even if I'm on a list or know someone and don't have to wait in line I wont go. One of our friends recently had a birthday party and when my wife told me it was at a club I said hell no, I don't care if she gets offended. I'd rather get together with a few friends for dinner, chill in an apartment somewhere, or I'd be down for a rooftop party. As far as going somewhere and needing to shout into someones ear to talk to them, no more.

I clocked $300 in gas for my whip last month. Fuck...

I just checked my statement...$425 in gas last month. Damn

On the grown man tip, who remembers when the Micheal Jackson studded belt buckles were in style? Or the parachute pants with the zippers on the side?

ahahahah i remember all of this shit... finding trashed pronz before teh internets was like a childhood staple for our generation... i remember when they came out with the 50th anniversary playboy with madonna in it, flicks from back in the day when she was a brunette, i was probably just in high school...

and on the IRA tip... yes always a safe bet, but you should ALWAYS go with a ROTH ira. It leaves your options open and protects your ass!

you know what sucks, i just had my boss replaced with an over achieving pompus prick who's almost ten years younger than me. he's one of those condescending mother fuckers, who has no life and his pathetic office job is what makes him "who he is." he also seems like the type of guy who might snitch on anyone to get ahead in the company.

i really don't want to go to jail for beating a dude with a stapler.

I remember when MTV was brand new,

You didn't need to ollie into most skate tricks,

Every school had at least one breaking crew,

Paying one of my first hard earned quarters to see Herbie Hancocks Rockit on a video Jukebox,

Rappers rapped about more than how rich they are,

Most writers were schooled by older writers,

Metallica sounded good,

No one knew what micro brew was,

You could get away with almost anything if you were under 18,

and Max Headrom looked super high tech.

Definitely co sign the writers being schooled by older writers and yeah..I remember being a kid when MTV came out and having the ill crush on Joan Jett with the bright red shiny lipstick. And yeah, the breakin' crews used to raid the dumpsters on appliance stores to get cardboard to break on. And I think every city had a "NBC" crew (Never Been Caught) that was full of all types of criminals. doze wa da dayz, mang.
