mariz
i own a couple film cameras one of which is a holga. it uses 120 film and its getting really expensive to get everything developed and printed and sometimes not the way i want it to be. does averyone else working with film here do their own processing and printing. even if its just black and white. im contemplating on switching over to digital but i love the way film works and its results. its just that i get my work done at photo stores. where the most customization i can do is to tell the person not to do any color correction or push/pull something. XJONATHONX
You could get a scanner and a copy of photoshop then just have your lab process the negatives (don't print the pictures) and scan them in.
mariz
i have a flatbed scanner (epson stylus cx4800) but i can never get good quality scans and if so it needs ALOT of photoshoping to make it look descent. ive looked into actual film scanners where you feed the film through but its really expensive. so back to my question. whats everyones thought on sticking with film. Engels
fuck film man... I use it every now and then and used to self-develop at school but seriously it is so much easier just to carry a digital, I mean I guess it made me lazier but it means I have more time to spend taking pictures and don't have to worry about being too conservative and I can print every photo opposed to just developing a few...seriously go digital and keep the film for a rainy day - Engels
