Not because we're a stagnating bunch, but because I hear from several people who venture out to Vancouver that if you talk anything remotely right of extreme left, you're ostracized. Like, if you think fighting belongs in hockey, people will not talk to you at all. Otherwise, Toronto is probably worse. Our City Council is the worst in North America, I'd imagine.
