iloveboxcars
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=qV6qAGigGYY I'd seriously appreciate it if everyone contacted their local newspapers/stations and anyone else that has any sort of voice in your community be it through the internet or dudes that just know a lot of people, show them this and ask them to spread the word. DO NOT TURN THIS INTO A DEBATE ABOUT THE CANDIDATES. FUCK YOUR CANDIDATE. THIS IS ABOUT BULLSHIT ELECTRONIC VOTING AND DISCUSSION INVOLVING VOTING IN GENERAL. ONCE AGAIN, FUCK YOUR CANDIDATE. Juan Fuentes
you could have most of the people voting for you, but when they use a system that is against you they dont stand a chance at getting you elected. this is pure tyranny. FALSE CHOICE like choosing to drink a diarrhea slurpee or eat a dry caca sammich. i see the nwo like a bully, the patriots at his face trying to make them flinch while the nwo saying, yeah i thought so nigga. it is time we start sucker punching these fags
LIVERWURST*
Elections. The reports were especially disturbing in Ohio, the critical battleground state that clinched Bush's victory in the electoral college. Officials there purged tens of thousands of eligible voters from the rolls, neglected to process registration cards generated by Democratic voter drives, shortchanged Democratic precincts when they allocated voting machines and illegally derailed a recount that could have given Kerry the presidency. A precinct in an evangelical church in Miami County recorded an impossibly high turnout of ninety-eight percent, while a polling place in inner-city Cleveland recorded an equally impossible turnout of only seven percent. In Warren County, GOP election officials even invented a nonexistent terrorist threat to bar the media from monitoring the official vote count.(11) MUCH MORE: http://www.rollingstone.com/news/story/10432334/was_the_2004_election_stolen

'GIVEN THAT THERE IS NO perfect voting system, is there at least an optimal one? Critics of touch-screen machines say that the best choice is “optical scan” technology. With this system, the voter pencils in her vote on a paper ballot, filling in bubbles to indicate which candidates she prefers. The vote is immediately tangible to the voters; they see it with their own eyes, because they personally record it. The tallying is done rapidly, because the ballots are fed into a computerized scanner. And if there’s a recount, the elections officials can simply take out the paper ballots and do it by hand.' if they are going to rig every election why dont they get rid of the bullshit and just say 'BEND OVER BITCHS WE OWN YOU ALL'
thinksmall
Right-winged. The concept of individual rights had many flaws according to Folletts political philosophy not least of which was the fact that they believed that people were to stupid to make an informed decision. This led to the realization that any system of government allowing an individual to participate in the decision making process by having the right to vote, could not but help being flawed itself. Follett referred to this as "la force stupide de nombre"56 So vehement was she against the concept of an individual having the right to vote that in her introduction to The New State she proclaimed that, "Ballot-box democracy is what this book is written to oppose." http://sovereignty.freedom.org/p/gov/hillmann-book2.html

Pet
In Estonia it's possible to vote at home via internet when using an ID-card reader (about 15$). *Post based only on the tilte of the thread*
ILOTSMYBRAIN
Seriously all of these machines need to be removed. From what I know you can basically program these machines to show any result you would like, you can make the races as close or as wide as you need and without a open source to check the data there is basically no hard tally of the ballots. We need to go back to paper ballots obviously there are ways to commit voters fraud with paper as well, but at least you can go back and go through the paper votes to get a hard count and filter out the fraudulent ballots. Juan Fuentes
if we go back to paper votes we must make sure the "companies" taking care of it aren't connected to the bush dynasty. today the vote is a virtual data, a ghost, lacking tangible matter.
