actual found real painting in the bush near the tracks. kinda cool, kinda creepy. might go back for it, might leave it for the next man to enjoy.

Def take it and hang it on the action figure/stuffed animal fence

Was trying to leave the spot when I heard walking on the ballast.  I'm like fuck, don't tell me there's a worker here.  Pop out and saw this lady looking back at me.  Cool thing was I just acted natural, didn't stare, and I crossed the tracks to within a few feet of her.  We stood there together for a moment before she turned and walked off into the brush.

Solid story man. I've encountered a similar situation with an Elk in the Grand Canyon National Park back in 1989. I was walking out of the park by walking in a straight line through the woods from a road to where the road curves back around. This was the main road in and out of the park. I had a map and determined this directional route. This is where I was to hitch back to Flagstaff.

Same thing tho. I didn't stare into its eyes and walked around it by about 15 feet because it was directly in my reckoned path.

Believe it or not this has happened around 5 times at different spots, more if you count non-graf related activity.  I like that feeling of being 2 animals passing each other in nature.  Probably how shit was way back when before man overpopulated.

I have only encountered skunk and takuache.

A buddy of mine was telling me a story a few months back when he was hunting and wasn’t feeling it so he took a nap under a tree. Shortly after he woke up, he came face to face with a mountain lion. Both just stood there looking at each other. Crazy thing is he recorded video of it and had it on his phone. He was definitely freaked out but kept his cool. I don’t do it justice retelling the story, the encounter definitely left a lifelong impression on him.

Can confirm that swooping magpies are actually scary af.

I was getting swooped by some after playing basketball at my old high school years ago one weekend. I was a doubter until it happened to me, and thankfully I survived somehow to tell the tale.
