morton Posted January 6, 2020 Share Posted January 6, 2020 ^ Switch to glue traps and poison, and do not bother with bait when using spring traps. put em along the walls and in corner where the mice travel, check the bait/poison pots and if they are chowing down then add more, if not consider moving it. Fist 666 Posted January 6, 2020 Share Posted January 6, 2020 @mortonI'm not a fan of glue traps for rodents--slow deaths and I often find hair patches stuck to the glue--but no rodent. That said, I have them down in standard paths as stated and it helps with the millipede and cricket population in my home a lot. I don't use poison as all it does is introduce poisoned mice to the birds of prey and snakes in the woods around my home. I set about 20 traps last weekend and "harvested" 15 mice yesterday. Had to put some effort into it myself but end result, no more mice. Mostly walked. But this trip was different than any other I’ve had(growing up 2 hrs away I’ve had a lot). The police presence was insane. I have always caught extreme wreck when visiting NYC. I caught a whole 3 hands the whole time. 1 of which was indoors and didn’t count. I didn’t exactly document it but I’ve never seen so many cops in all my life. Not just patrol cars in abundance but a lot of unmarked dt’s. I barely escaped certain bagging twice (late night after bars) in preparation for execution by just catching the jakes staring at me from the car less than 30 ft away. Any how. Just a strange occurrence I thought I’d share. Also.....What in the fuck is goin on with that “Vandal” club...? 😂 Jesus Christ. Views from the hotel were dope. Very affordable. 90 bucks for the night. Di FAra. Vanessas! (You know what time it is) These Fucking ANIMALS! DUSTED or Aliens.....? I attend every year, free to enter, mostly exotics & luxury cars from the last 50 years. Muscle cars do nothing for me, so I tend to avoid the shitshow that is Barrett-Jackson. (BJ is like going to Costco with cars) The wife & I start out at the Wrigley Mansion perched on a hill above the hotel grounds. The mansion was once home to the Wrigley family of Chicago, then the Hormel family of Spam & shitty chili. Theres a bar, a restaurant, event space, and you can tour around the house on your own. It has 360 views of the valley. Free to enter, food and drink is reasonable. I’ve been meaning to smash the wife in one of the giant bathrooms upstairs, I should’ve done it yesterday. There was only half the amount of cars as last year, and about 1/3 of the size it used to be. Perhaps it because the buyers/sellers premium is 12% under 300k, 10% over 300k. Most auctions are 5%.
