Upon further analysis I have decided to get a Delica model from the same vendor. I am torn between the blue and the black and thought, as I often do when faced with important decisions, to ask people from the internet what they think.

Here is a link to the vendor page showing all makes of the Spyderco brand Delica model knife that they sell.

I like Gerber knifes because they are American made steel at a reasonable price. I purchased a little Gerber a few years back that was designed to be a money clip as well and had a super thin design. What I found was that the fasteners really poked out and that it was painful to carry in my pocket as every time I sat down I had a fastener head drilling into one of my butt cheeks. I ended up removing the clip part, making it even thinner and putting the knife on a key chain.

I would be sure to check for that before purchase, seems like something that should of gotten ironed out before mass production.

Here is a picture of it now.

looking for something like this but spring assisted or with an index finger bump/switch thing, any suggestions?

I like how thin the body is/the size of the blade

I would suggest a Ken Onion Leek.

It is spring assisted and also has a index finger bump/switch thing. Body is thin but not sure if you will be into the blade?

I have had mine for a few years and have had no issues. It has stayed very sharp and I have even had an envious police officer try to steal it from me while cuffed.

i carried the gerber auto, the crkt and the seal pup for most of my time in afghanistan, thats why they look extra shitty.

i love those ken onions but i've had the blade lock piece break on two of them, hard to justify buying replacements... if you guys want any better photos or whatever let me know.

Fist, that's a cool collection, man.

Does anyone know anything about throwing knives? I'm a complete noob at it, but have been practicing. I've been using my buddy's cheap ones he got off of ebay. They're decent on the targets we set up, but I want something that is quality and will not break.

^link fail...

I would get this if I were looking to purchase a new knife...

large-SC_C11P.jpg

Spyderco Delica 4, SS, PE SC-C11P-4

here is some of from my stash

I would get the full flat ground delica, i rock that usually everyday and this thing is SCARY sharp, straight up shaved hair better than my gillette when i first got it, but now its cut enough dry wall and other shit that its not shaving sharp and I'm not sure how to sharpen it back to its original edge

heres a pic of it compared to my first custom, which is made by a dude name Michael Morris outta michigan - its made from an old file and the exposed tang is a bottle opener
