I don't know cope personally, so i can't ask him. Come on, tell us.

I also remember a NewYork wall from the fx-crew that featured Bando from Paris, and they just went over his piece like he never been part of that wall. I'd like to know what that was about.

What can I say about my main man Can2...

met him the first time in 2001 when along with Tasek, Daim, Seak and Codeak he came out to NZ for my Jam at The Aotearoa Hip Hop Summit. I ws connected with him through Loomit, another German writer really involved in exposing our scene to the world.

When I started painting, our Old school was gone and traces of their work was virtually non existant. There was no foundation of true writing culture here bar a few dedicated mid school artists that kept it true..but they were so protective of what they had. I was in those days really influenced by the obvious technicians but failed to look past that and to true letter style..I guess in a lot of ways Can2 got me to look past that and to the origin of it all..Also Atom has had a profound influence on me.

Really, Dondi and Seen's letters are still at the hub of true graffiti style...To pay tribute to that I feel that Can2 has taken the torch in a way and pushed that simple perfection to the next level..His shit is clean, perfect technique and an amazing understanding of color...When you work on a wall with can2 you know you are working with a master of graffiti.

On his last tour to NZ, he came with Atom and Wow123...also two masters of letter style that have derived their main principals in lettering straight from NY and I think that's dope..no one can really be there and back in those days but at least the most important era for foundation is respected and paid tribute to....

Much respect to these guys..They put myself and Exist down in SUK back in 2002 and now they all got put down in TMD in NZ...
