VAJ
We carved pumpkins tonight. The kids in Dallas don't have a curfew and usually stay out destroying things. Like pumpkins. I would like a picture of my little masterpiece. I don't know shit about photography. I have a good camera. Not an SLR, but its a good everyday camera. Who can tell me what setting this thing needs to be at...? I'm aware this should probably be in the photography thread over in untitled...or whatever but how often do people really check that? And no, its not really a masterpiece in any way but i'm still proud.
Big Bruno
If you aren't gonna use a flash, make sure that you use a tripod, or try to stabilize the camera if possible. So that you can avoid blurring.
Mellow
set it on night mode or if you have a BuLB setting then set it to that and hold it steady or set it on a tripod like bruno said what kind of camera you have would help I check the photography thread often and so do alot of other people

Mercer
I been lurking in the photo thread enough to want to buy a real camera. But yea, hold open that shutter for a while on night setting and stablize.
