also the kind of "style" that revs uses in his more colorful work is heavily influenced by a popular style native to new york, it's sort of hard to put exactly into words where it comes from. It's definitely rooted in late eighties train work in the city, detailed, stock cap pieces, there's a certain touch to it, you see it walking around the few un-gentrified areas left in new york, like in parts of the bronx, and farther out in queens and brooklyn local guys who paint the sides of stores and whatnot...

 

 

kill the yuppies, burn the hipsters, fuck i wish new york was a shithole again, instead of a glass facade/fake slum playground for the wealthy......
