Q666 Posted October 2, 2007 Share Posted October 2, 2007 i can see both sides of the power metal arguement, but i guess its just me, over my life i have just gotten bored with metal that is just screaming, i can still appreciate the musicianship of it, as i can appreciate musicianship in all its forms, not just metal, but i guess i have just gotten bored of the screaming and now im way more entertained by songs about riding into battle on a dragon and all that cheesy gay shit gets me more pumped up i guess, im sure people are laughin at me at stoplights when im rockin out all dumb with my battle axe and cup of mead raised high, but i gives no fuck...... its just none of the newer metal scream type shit catches my interest... and yea, opeth was a boring as fuck show.. saw them at HOB chicago a few years ago. peace Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

INSOMNIUM having a hard time finding the album (not mailorder) but these guys are pretty fucking cool, if you're into the melo-death/gothenburg type.
