And not all crackheads are 35 pound trolls. Theyre used to be a whole team of them down the street at all hours of the night. Cars started getting broken into. Then the one guys house they used as crackhouse headquarters moved out and they stopped coming around. They are muscular just-out-of-prison White Power assholes. I don't trust. They locked the keys in "their" super fancy SUV. It had one of those keypads on the handle that you can put in a code and it unlocks the door. They didn't even know how many numbers was in the code. So they broke the window out with a hammer. Actually dude, if you read what I wrote about you and my opinion of you a few pages back when dude got on your case you would see that I exempt you from this, but my feelings on someone the pseudo tough guys stays. If I can take care of something myself, and it doesn't put my loved ones in further danger, or won't make a small incident escelate into a war then I will. But going to jail over some douchebag instead of letting the cops handle it isn't helping me get anymore work done. It isn't helping me pay my bills or take care of my things any better. It just depends. I will say I have never needed to call the cops on anyone, ever, but if I needed to for something I would. Alerting cops to a stolen car, or a break-in isn't the same in my books as ratting out a writer or someone smoking weed in the alley. It's not the same to me and no one is going to be able to convince me otherwise. But as far as you go dude, I don't want you feeling like I was making a judgement on you, but not everyone who acts real is real. Sometimes they just want to be down and in my experience those guys are the ones who will probably snitch first. The emptiest barrel makes the most noise.
