85 Bears.. Still Da Best ever.

1. 1985 Chicago Bears (18-1)

Went 15-1 in the regular season, scoring 456 points and allowing only 198. Then in their three playoff games, they outscored opponents 91-10, including 46-10 over New England in the Super Bowl.

2. 1978 Pittsburgh Steelers (17-2)

The best and most complete of the Steelers' dynasty teams. They had eight Hall of Famers, and that doesn't count coach Chuck Noll. Quarterback Terry Bradshaw was league MVP and the Steel Curtain defense is one of the best ever.

3. 1972 Miami Dolphins (17-0)

Yes, many argue they should be first on the list because they went undefeated. But a soft schedule is their downfall on this list. The league, in general, was mediocre in 1972. Sorry.

4. 1991 Washington Redskins (17-2)

Despite a tough schedule, they went 14-2 in the regular season and outscored opponents 485-224. In the postseason, they won by scores of 24-7, 41-10 and 37-24.

5. 1999 St. Louis Rams (16-3)

The Greatest Show on Turf scored 33 points per game. Meantime, the defense allowed 15 points per game, fourth-best in the league. To show you how complete they were, they won every way possible in the postseason: a shootout (49-37 over the Vikings), a defensive struggle (11-6 over the Bucs) and a Super Bowl that was a little of both - 23-16 over the Titans.

Agreed.

Just heard this morning that Kirk Morrison of the Raiders was doing interviews for Jim Rome's "Rome is Burning" show during Super Bowl weekend and his first interview was with Chad Johnson. Before he could even finish saying "Chad what brings you here", Johnson cut in with "Yes, I will come to Oakland, Mr. Davis, come get me...."

Not that I'm a Raider fan, just found it interesting.

and the Giants defense played their arses off yesterday. You could see it in Brady's eyes, he was skerred........
