Schnitzel
Bought this last year on amazon- took for ever to come was cool. showed so much of his history and progression and other photos of him and his friends as well as blackbooks sketches think it was great but he's always been pretty out there also got the seen book - not such a fan of this one. seemed a lot of clumsy bits and an english proofreader wouldn't have hurt. http://www.blkmarket.fr/wp-content/uploads/2014/09/cover1.jpg but still some of Seen's pieces are so good how can you hate on it.? seen_they_call_me_the_godfather_of_graffiti_mtn_11 also got this one there is some awesome stuff in this. there's a black book by a guy who died tabu and there's heaps of cool stuff by numerous other names you would know great book finally

tomtom
http://www.12ozprophet.com/news/12oz-twelve-book-edition-12-graffiti-books not sure I agree with this list I agree, I would like to know what your top 12 are? You have a great collection, not just u.s. but all around. I have recently started getting more euro books, the quality is great, and as much as I like stateside graff, the books get stagnant and predictable. If I see one more shot of a rusted can on the tracks up close, or a black homeless person looking back pissed off with some out of focus graff in the background....well you get drift. Schnitzel
Hey tomtom, yeah as soon as I posted that I realised it would be hard to pick. In fact I don't know here's a stab at it. In no order (numbered to keep track) 1. Freight train graffiti 2. Ruzd79 3. All City writers Would definitely be in there. 4. Blade - king of graff - blade tells a good story 5. Overground 1 or 2 - interesting in depth writing on a few select writers. 6. Train Track Memories - swedish book with photos all the way through it. At the back it has the story of each photo very personal -it's like sitting with a writer having them tell you the story 7. The Art of Geting over 8. The history of american graffiti (I think deserves a mention) 9. Style master general ( dondi book) 10. The Nasty Terrible Tkid 170 11. Power of Style: Berlin Stylewriting 12. Subway art (it's kind of got to be in there doesn't it?) other honourable mentions sabotage graffiti art on trains in europe Spraycan art Million dollar vandal Some the on the run books , Sabe, Sento, Part1, Ghost,Zebster free agents (dc graffiti) crack and shine ( london one) Amsetrdam graffiti the battle of Waterlooplein International top sprayer writers united KAOS VIM Kingsway copenhagen black books would love to get my hands on some of these I have the first graffiti art book from going to Europe in 1995 but idioticly didn't buy any more of them. Schnitzel
Bought this on friday when it was released. looking forward to this for sure. it's pretty rare ( even the video for the book mentions it) for a writer to have their whole photo collection. but to have it over 30 years! Sick sick sick! http://riskoldhabits.com/ images?q=tbn:ANd9GcQqUVO3RVSizmMmJ5f7-4ut1w2UHQziS

I got mine in 1999 but in 2015 I was looking at a wall in Sydney Australia thinking "man that looks like espo's work" and I turned around and he was standing right there. nipped home grabbed my copy and got him to hit it up! told him about the old trains in Sydney called red rattlers that you could do hangouts from and he even included "let's hangout on the red rattler" into his wall. Top dude! 2
