cornhustlah
the Cut & Paste tournament has gone from just an NYC event the first year in 2005, to four cities nationwide last year and now on to 11 cities WORLDWIDE this year adding Tokyo, London, Hong Kong, Berlin, Sydney, Portland, and Boston to the list of the already established LA, SF, CHI and NYC events. so now almost ANYONE can get down and battle. I'm the winner of last year's competition (the first in Chicago and the 2nd in the event's history) and all I won was this lousy t-shirt... no, seriously, I won a lousy MacBook, which fared me well once I got a couple gigs of ram in it. but this year the grand prize is a Wacom Cintiq touchscreen monitor, the MacBook pushed to the second prize and Adobe CS3 software as third prize. plus an audience choice award (i thnk also a MacBook). plus plus with this year having gone international the level of exposure for the winners has been significantly ramped up. the deadline for Call for Entries is this coming Tuesday night (July, 17th) at midnight and all you need to enter is a small sample of work compiled on an online source (a website, flickr, myspace, photobucket, etc..), no attachments, and go to http://www.cutandpaste.com/events/enter.html to fill out an entry form. check out the website (http://www.cutandpaste.com) and check out the myspace page (http://www.myspace.com/cutandpastechicago) for more info...[/

Dawood
I guess when Youre limited to 15 minutes, the art is going to come out wack regardless, some of it is ok, under the circumstances.
