Issac Brock Posted July 3, 2007 Share Posted July 3, 2007 i found out that a group of male mallards will chase a single female mallard until she gets tired and then take turns mating with it the tired out female...and in some cases the female gets away and the lead male gets confused for the female and ends up gettin gang raped.. also mallards have been known to do teh necrophilias i didn't believe it, but sure enough, wikipedia says: "When they pair off with mating partners, often one or several drakes will end up "left out". This group will sometimes target an isolated female duck — chasing, pestering and pecking at her until she weakens (a phenomenon referred to by researchers as rape flight), at which point each male will take turns copulating with the female.
