~>MooseKnuckle<~
sometimes i dont even do graffiti when i go to the yards. i just bring giant stencils to repaint the numbers in a different order just to throw the workers off and cause confusion within the railroad. why? because im just a rebel like that, ya heard me. ------------------ i thought for sure this post was started in 1999. but it was actually started this year. knock knock asshole. freights are already burnt. fuck the numbers, it wont matter - just like talking about it on this message board.

desism_ktc
I usually paint NS cars over with a CSX logo, BNSF logos over NS, and MEC logos over Conrail ... I leave the CN's alone because I respect Canada, except during the NHL Finals when a Canadien team is involved ...lol
Robot_Apocolypse
TAPE THE NUMBERS IF A WORKER CATCHES YOU EXPLAINB YOU TAPED THE NUMBERS AND THEY WONT RAT YOU TO THE COPS, SECOND IT WILL RUN FOREVER, AND 3rd IT WILL KEEP THE SPOT CHILL! tipsycripsy420
so it's legal as long as i don't paint the over the numbers? or is it still illegal but i put tape over the numbers and so the train workers won't think i'm an ass? you are "gud" at graffiti huh? kage212
if you paint over the numbers your retarded your piece lasts longer if you dont and it shows your smart enough not too
exzo757
And stop leaving your empty fucking cans laying around the trains! Isnt this common fucking sense. Clean up after yourself. Anyone who doesnt needs to have a can stuffed down there fucking throat!!!!!!!!!!!!!
nahmean
Why even tape the numbers? Just simply dont paint near them. Then you dont have sections out of your piece, no worries about it being buffed or stamped, no hottness to the spot. There is plenty of room on the cars not near the numbers especially on auto racks. Common sense shit.
Warden Norton
You need to understand some people cant paint over a bar, cant paint over a ladder, so they go over numbers, its easier, any respectable freight writer knows to go around the numbers, except kwest, he still generally avoids huge stamps. He's too good
ohefdubs
lol. for real. your fucking up if your not taping numbers. eventually it leads to tighter rail security or pissed off railworkers that will smash your face or they get shot but either way you have issues:D
Warden Norton
Its been posted in other threads about this topic, rail workers 99 times out of 100 dont give a shit, the only reason they get mad about anything is if their safety record gets fucked and they lose out on free shit
klog
pretty easy to avoid the numbers
hatetown
if i run out of room and have to go over the numbers, ill usually just write them down then paint them back out after im finished. one of my homeys has number stencils and just stencils the original numbers back over the finished piece. toxic one
even re-painting the numbers doesn't guaranty that your piece wouln't get stamped.
hatetown
no but it betters your chances...of not getting stamped. :scrambled:
herbsyntec
I mean its hard to avoid all the black boxes and numbers on E2E and whole cars.
hatetown
im guessing that if a railworker sees a wholecar hes only gonna stamp the numbers back..probably wouldnt buff the entire wholecar

StephenHarper
i leave numbers but fuck the black box ..... In my discussions with Railworkers the blackbox is actually more important..
Cracked Ass
True. It contains maintenance info, particularly on the brakes, which is not available elsewhere. Whereas the car number is also up high on the ends, and in the last few years also on the wheel trucks. As for wholecars...avoiding the info is easy, and the stuff you go around has less impact on the finished product because it's so big.
