I am like hey i need to order $150k of shit from you uhh call me back so I can get some quotes on special pricing...2 weeks later they call my ass like oh hey just got ur message...So then I punch them... boogie hands Posted June 19, 2007 Author Share Posted June 19, 2007 they do have the worst customer service on the planet. ps - fuck any company that outsources their call centers. seriously. i dont care how much language training you are giving your overseas employees....there is still a language barrier (if they were bright enought to quickly pick up a foreign language for the sake up a job they wouldnt be working in a call center....just a tip) and it makes the hassle of calling a call center about 100 times more aggravating than it already is. You give them 3 fucking part#'s of what you need they still cant find the product I am like I AM LOOKING AT THE FUCKING PART ON THE WEBSITE NOW I JUST NEED TO KNOW SOMETHING ABOUT IT WTF!!!!! If you get transfered like 3 times they usually forward you to an american... HP's not so bad though they do alot of training and if you call one of the sales reps they know everything about every product very knowledgable unlike Dell...everytime its a "Ok let me call you back" with them... skullnbones Posted June 19, 2007 Share Posted June 19, 2007 I'm no computer wizz but thought I'd just give an unbias opinion. I've got a Toshiba (intel centrino). I've been on it for near two years now and had zero problems with it. I've travelled heaps with it and to be honest it's taken a bit of a beating too. All in all I'm reaaaal happy with it. I'm looking at ditching windows in the next week or two and getting on the Linux train. Windows just has so much junk that I will never want or need. Happy purchasing. HydrogenPeroxide Posted June 19, 2007 Share Posted June 19, 2007 i have that same pc as dog, it works just fine for what i need which is just internetting and watching movies and that basic shit. stuff to get me throught the day at work. macs definitely have a nicer interface and i'm always impressed with how smoothly apple products work, but i'm sure i could achieve that if i bought a laptop with more ram and a better processor.
