Mauler5150
Re: starbury's Well the richest person I know hasn't spent more than $10 on a shirt in the past 7 years. Instead he just flys to Thailand and buys clothes there and has a good time while he is there. I am sure that you could easily save the price of a trip if you put off buying stuff like that for a while.

lord_casek
Re: starbury's back when i was a teenager and discovered 12oz...i think i was banned the second day i was on. i was young. and the 2 other times. i think i probably should have nearly 20,000 posts all together. sad. i can't sleep. gotta take my nephew to weight training tomorrow morning. i should go ahead and turn him over to gliko and say "maybe one day you can punch neckface in the mouth and knock him out, just like glik"

Ferris Bueller
Re: starbury's I like the concept and all, but I wouldn't rock basketball shoes in the casual sense whatsoever. I like to ball, though my foot would come out sideways and rip one of those jawns quick like my dad did with the Chuck Taylor's in his time. Gimme an old pair of Air Max court shoes and I'll wear those out.

Harvey Wallbanger
Re: starbury's $15 shoes sound like a great idea to me. I'm constantly ruining sneakers. I don't know if I'd rock any of those designs/ colors, though.
the.crooked
Completely aside from the price tag and status issues, these shoes are no where near good for ballin in. I tried a pair of the ones made for basketball. Stiff insides, uncomfortable stitching, etc. They would have been a pain in the ass...er foot to play in. So, to a degree, you do get what you pay for. As far as an athletic shoe, not the best. But I would prolly rock the new balance rip offs.
LIVERWURST*
I'm going to buy a pair of those New Balance ones and use them as camping shoes for the summer. Maybe I'll get drunk one night and try to melt the sole hoping to stick them to logs and turn them into stilts like I tried last summer.
