I had a shitty attitude from the beginning though, as I flew from denver to northern Iowa to meet friends then drove all day to minneaplolis to catch a NIN show, which ended up being cancelled after we had already paid for a hotel room. We were in the area by that first ave venue, and it seemed super yuppie and expensive. All I wanted was a cheap dive bar and maybe some drugs, but that was out of the question. Ended up wandering around looking for a liquor store and could only find some shitty place that had an emphasis on wine and therefore the 12 packs were expensive as fuck. Ended up drinking under a bridge with my friends and wandering back to that first ave spot, where they had some drum and bass that night, the only good part about the whole ordeal.
