Steak over arugula, cherry tomatoes(which I had no idea I would like so much) and topped with a balsamic type sauce. So I got together with my mom and she made this for us. Pancakes, fruit and real maple syrup. Makes a huge difference.. My mom owns on breakfast cooking. For some reason I don't really do it like she does.. So fucking good. itsallafarce Posted September 22, 2009 Share Posted September 22, 2009 damn those pancakes do look dank. props for that. so friday my school catered a fashion show for a design and technology school. shit was pretty fun. fresh roasted garlic pork sausage bites w/ tomato jam curry chicken salad w/ toasted almonds and raisins on fresh made crackers fruit plater polenta cakes w/ a really good oregon blue cheese assorted cheeses more fruit ceaser salad sliders lamb sliders w/ tomato chutney smoked salmon cakes w/ aioli more cheese meringue cookies w/ pink peppercorns chocolate ganache squares w/ gold leaf and today in class we had a quick fire amuse bouche (single bite taster) i made a herbed potato cake with a sauteed salmon chunk topped w/ a caper dill aioli i fucked up my original finals plate today. i broke the sauce i was trying to make and my polenta seized up cause i made it to far in advance. this all happened with about 30 minutes before the pass closed which ment no more plates can be graded for finals. grilled halibut with a caper dill and tarragon cream sauce, vegetable tagliate and creamy polenta. i got it to the pass with 3 minutes to spare. i was sweatin balls but it felt good to bust out under pressure. Meanwhile.. this was for dinner last night... cube steak slices w/onion wrapped in bacon and slow cooked in its own juices..(used as gravy) the mashiest mashed potatos sticky rice BBq chickenz steak shishcabobs drinks n desert... home made choc chip cookies and strawberry margaritas i rarely eat this good...
