theprotester
Boneless ribs is where it's at. Call me a pussy, but I hate eating messy food at a restaurant. Chicken Agrodolce - I omitted olives, I just don't like them. One of those dishes that I couldn't photograph well before devouring it. Also, I cannot remember if I posted this already, it's from a week or so ago. I'm still not sold on the plates... people think they are mind blowing though, every fourth customer wants to buy a set. Weirdos. Way too much salmon, too.

theprotester
Nice post mate, been wondering where you'd got to. The terrine looks awesome, the kind of consistency I like. I could eat those wedges right about now. I'm starving! I found out about 'tailgating' from a very attractive young lady from A&M Texas - I've been seeing more and more Yanks out here of late - either way, it sounded like a load of fucking fun. Starting up the grill and beers at 5 in the morning is just how theprotester likes to get down. Would be awesome if I wasn't on my own for it! Haha. ipod90
Dinner First I lightly toasted a bun. Then kindly added sour cream. Then added Atlantic Salmon with red onion and tomato. Covered that bish in cheese. Grilled the cheese, added parmesan, cracked pepper and salt. Served with asparagus and a nice dollop of truffle mustard. Gore Last bite You can also use cream cheese instead of sour cream and panini bread. I don't have either at this time.

theprotester
I'll have to check it out for myself one day. Looks good ipod, that truffle mustard is crazy expensive but it is one of the better ones. At least you can taste the truffle. I don't usually go past just getting the truffle salt. I'm convinced my camera's phone is deteriorating at a rate of knots. But this was nice, my venison binge continues. venison medallions/ juniper berry, gin, rosemary cream sauce/ dash of pepperberry honey vinegar/
mackfatsoe
jesus ipod I was thinking to myself "that is a lot of fucking cheese" and then you sprinkled parmesan on TOP OF THAT?

theprotester
Looks like a man's meal! How did it turn out? A layer of mashed potato on top and I'd be grinnin'. @IOU: Haha, I had to Google what a Hungry Man dinner is, but you're spot on. When I first saw them I thought they looked a bit surgical even. ipod90
jesus ipod I was thinking to myself "that is a lot of fucking cheese" and then you sprinkled parmesan on TOP OF THAT? Yeah man, Shitloads of cheese! Tell me about it. Going threw a stage atm. Need to get my hands on some more halloumi while on the topic. I hope it is just a phase and I don't turn into a cheese fanatic like some have. Protester, The mustard cost me, believe me haha but the smell is incredible and the taste makes it worth it. Never had the salt before. How does it go on say venison? Match made in heaven?
theprotester
Definitely with the venison, also berries go very nicely with venison.
itsallafarce
Started a new menu at work. Chef let me put this on it. Pan roasted black cod, braised kale, butter poached salsify, smoked almond puree, smoked almond brown butter. We switched it up to skin on cause it's delicious and holds the fish together better. The AM lead didn't know that's how I wanted it. Been selling like hotcakes!
