KM4RT
So.....I went with: Aussie lamb (leg steaks), swiss mushrooms, onion, spring onion, prosciutto, gouda cheese, seasoned with s & p, rosemary, parsley, basil, dijon and wholegrain mustards. So good, this will become a regular thing. An awesome Australia Day breakfast!

Karl Stefanovic
Other than the Sam Kekovic ad.. Why is lamb the Australian day dish?
theprotester
Lamb was, and really still is, considered a high end meat. So having it in a celebratory fashion on our Foundation Day just seemed to make sense. I'm chewing on a local beef snagga right now, I've got some racks for later. Missus' family has been raising lamb out here for the best part of written history - so they're gorn be tasty! Sam Kekovich is a fucking idiot by the way. redeyedanimal
I thought y'all had so much lamb it was like beef is in America. Not true?
theprotester
You'll pay over ten dollars a kilo for leg, and up to thirty five dollars a kilogram for butchered rack. We've had some weird shit happen here with the cattle export market which has knocked on to supermarket meat prices - but I get all my meat from my local butcher, I've met some of the animals I eat. Doodle
yeah they are polish, there is pasta on the outside and in my specific ones there was veal on the inside, i didn't have any bacon :( You basically make the dough and put w/e u want inside, they have ones with cheese, different kinds of meat, potatoes etc.

Spicy tuna. Spanish tapas place in Charlotte. Nice place. A lil over priced, but not bad. Yuca with Cilantro Aioli Tostones with Garlic Mojo Braised Beef Empanadas Manchego Churrasco. My favorite. Was some really good skirt steak and the chimi was very nice Vaca Frita.

Realism
I don't post in this thread too often, you might be confusing me with someone else. I do, however, like to make it extremely apparent when I'm eating something good while browsing 12oz.
